Institute of Hospitality, Management & Sciences – IHMS, Kotdwar successfully organized a captivating seminar on “𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐝 𝐆𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭” on 29th April 2025, aligning with the vision of the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 (𝐍𝐄𝐏) 2020 and the Indian Knowledge System (IKS). The session was graced by the esteemed 𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐲𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐭 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐢 𝐀𝐧𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐰𝐚𝐥 (𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐲𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢 𝐉𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐣), who offered deep and inspiring insights into how the timeless teachings of the Bhagavad Gita can guide modern leadership, decision-making, and ethical management practices. His thought-provoking address encouraged students and faculty alike to reflect on the values of clarity, purpose, and duty in both personal and professional spheres.
The event commenced with a warm welcome and presentation of a sapling by Dr. Ashwani Sharma, Director (Academics), symbolizing growth and wisdom. The seminar witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who explored the philosophical and practical applications of the Gita in contemporary management through engaging discussions. Mr. Surendra Singh Jagwan, Head of the Department of Management, expressed gratitude to the guest speaker with a token of appreciation, while the event was seamlessly coordinated by Mr. Pradeep Bhatt, Assistant Professor.
