How much scholarship can I get at IHMS?
Up to 50% of tuition for 90% and above in the qualifying exam; 40% for 80–89%, 30% for 70–79% and 20% for 60–69%.
Can I combine two scholarships?
No. Only one scholarship applies per student.
Is there a scholarship for girls or defence families?
Dependants of defence, para-military, police personnel and martyrs get a 20% scholarship.
Is there a scholarship for SC, ST and OBC students?
Yes, 25% on tuition. Staff referrals also get 25%.
Is there a referral scholarship?
Yes. Alumni and student referrals get 20% on tuition; staff referrals get 25%.
How is the scholarship calculated?
It is calculated on the first-semester tuition fee and adjusted across every semester of the programme.
Does the scholarship continue for the whole programme?
Yes. The scholarship scheme agreed at admission stays the same for the whole programme.
Can you give an example?
A BBA student with 85% in Class 12 gets a 40% scholarship: 40% of the first-semester tuition (₹40,000) is ₹16,000, adjusted across the semesters of the programme.
Can I also apply for government scholarships?
Yes. Students can apply for state and central government scholarships; the scholarship committee helps with documentation. The student pays the full fee and the government scholarship is credited directly to the student’s account.
Does the scholarship cover hostel and university fees?
No. Scholarships apply to the tuition fee; university fees, hostel and transport are charged separately.
