Themed event ‘Ek Prayas’ was organized by the BBA department, where students familiarize themselves with the constructive feedback shared by the Hon’ble Guest Mr. Sunil Srivastava (HRD Head, BEL Kotdwar), Mr. Uniyal (Statistical Manager, Directorate of Industries) through model making competition.
Teams had the opportunity to design, build and highlight their models on the subject theme -Khadi the Indian heritage, Eco tourism, Village and small-scale industries, Garbage in and Garbage out, Rainwater harvesting, Water conservation, and Green House effect, and Energy conservation.
IHMS, Department of Business Management organizes a Seminar on Road to Entrepreneurs. All 8 teams that participated in the previous Road to Entrepreneur workshop presented their business presentations.
IHMS, Department of Business Management organized a wonderful workshop to develop entrepreneurship skills among students. 8 teams prepare their stall with food items, crafts, and games and managed more than 200 customers.
IHMS Kotdwar organized a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) event for those who had faced the cloudburst situation in Kotdwar. On 16th August 2018 students of IHMS distributed necessary goods to the nearby villagers.
Today Mr. Surendra Singh Jagwan, Asst. Professor at the Institute of Hospitality, Management and Sciences had taken a workshop on “E-Commerce” in the Department of Business Administration.
“Soup Sandwich and Smoothie Workshop”
IHMS, Kotdwar also educate school students whenever possible by conducting one day workshops. This time we had a chance to organize workshop for NAVYUG PUBLIC SCHOOL where the students were demonstrated about the art of preparing soup, sandwich and smoothies.
The entire event was curated by Hotel Management Dept. The presenters were Chef Manoj Joshi, Chef Pankaj Kukreti and Mixologist Mr. Madhusudan Adhikari
