Glad to Announce that the Institute of Hospitality, Management and Sciences created a new history by preparing 301 dishes from different states (Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Pauri Garhwal, Kumaon Garhwal, Uttar Pradesh etc.) in one thali (7 Ft. in diameter). 49 students and 8 teachers played an important role in making these different types of dishes within 2 hours and 15 minutes. This will prove to be a milestone for Kotdwar city also. Chief guest Chef Sudhir Sibal, guest of honor Mr. Nazeer Ahmad (Country Inn and Suites by Radisson, Sahibabad, and special invitees (Gazetted Officer- Principal-KV Lansdowne, Principal-Arya Kanya Inter College, Principals -GIC Kotdwar) encouraged everyone with applause and called this thali a great invention. Thanks to “Amashaa Masala and Khugsal Ji” for your support to make this event successful. Thanks to the management of IHMS for your blessings, support and encouragement for making this m ountain-like task easier.

Hotel Management Department organized a webinar on the topic “How to become a successful hotelier” Dated 8th April 22 the resource person was Mr. Kapil Dhall (Director of Revenue Saadiyat Rotana Hotels &Resort Abu Dhabi, U.A.E). Mr. Kapil Dhall touched few key points during the session like
What is success?, What is passion?, How to set the goals, Ladder to achieve the goals, How to manage the time, Stay incomparable, Be consistent, Enjoy every tiny success.
Around 52 participants joined the webinar with complete enthusiasm. There was lot of interaction and question answers exchanged between participants and the resource person.
The webinar was very productive, enjoyable and interesting.
