On the occasion of World Tourism Day, IHMS proudly organized an engaging and informative Quiz Competition to celebrate the spirit of global travel and exploration. Our students enthusiastically participated, showcasing their knowledge about diverse cultures, tourist destinations, and the significance of sustainable tourism. The event was not only a test of knowledge but also a reminder of how tourism connects the world and fosters unity.

IHMS is proud to announce the successful completion of our “Tree Plantation Drive,” organized by the Department of Management in collaboration with the Lansdowne Forest Range. Our dedicated students came together with a shared mission to contribute to a greener, healthier planet, planting over 150 trees in a remarkable effort to give back to Mother Earth. 🌳🌱

Tree plantation is not just an act of beautifying our surroundings—it’s a vital step towards combating climate change, preserving biodiversity, and ensuring a sustainable future. Trees act as the lungs of our planet, absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen, while also providing habitat for countless species, preventing soil erosion, and contributing to the overall health of our ecosystem. This initiative is a testament to IHMS’s commitment to fostering environmental stewardship among our students and the community. Celebrating Excellence at Pratibha Samman Samaroh! 🌟 We are thrilled to share the success of our recent event, “Pratibha Samman Samaroh,” held on June 8, 2024, at Institute of Hospitality, Management & Sciences – IHMS, Kotdwar. This special occasion honored the remarkable achievements of meritorious students from Pauri Garhwal District who scored above 80% in their 12th exams.

The event was a testament to the hard work, dedication, and brilliance of these young minds. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the awardees who were recognized for their outstanding academic performance. The event featured our esteemed guest speaker, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐀𝐥𝐨𝐤 𝐆𝐮𝐩𝐭𝐚, Proprietor of Alok Gupta & Associates, Patent Agent (IN/PA 4384) & Trade Mark Attorney (40444), and Registered IP Mitra (Patent Facilitator) under the SIPP scheme.

Dr. Gupta’s extensive experience and insights into the world of intellectual property provided invaluable knowledge to our attendees.

Held in the Seminar Hall, the lecture was well-attended by students and faculty members eager to deepen their understanding of IPR. Dr. Gupta’s engaging presentation covered the essentials of intellectual property rights, the significance of patents and trademarks, and the role of IP in fostering innovation and protecting creative works.

The session was highly interactive, with participants actively engaging in discussions and Q&A, gaining clarity on various aspects of IPR.
